Tubby's Ice HouseLovely indoor and outdoor seating in Downtown Fredericksburg. One block off Main Street. Quiet and relaxing patio for pets and also family friendly playground. Fantastic queso, burgers, tacos and healthy salad and taco options. Good bar serving beer and frozen drinks that taste like more. Friendly staff.

Cibolo Trail
Cibolo Creek TrailThe paved trail extends from Downtown Boerne from the trailhead behind the Main Plaza and meanders along the historic downtown area with access to local businesses. There are lots of places to sit and relax along the way as well. Great place for the family and pets to enjoy a nice walk. Public restrooms are also available on the trail, as well as public parking along River Road and Plant Ave. complete with a marked flashing light pedestrian crossing. There are many places to get a beverage, snack or full dining experience along the Main Street of downtown just steps off the trail. The River Road portion of the trail has picnic tables and many places to interact with the local ducks.

Family friendly and pet friendly on patio
Dodging Duck BrewhausLovely setting along the Cibolo Creek of Boerne. Pets are welcome either on the patio which has a shade cover or in the patio yard area. Food menu with both wine and beer. If your pet gets restless you can walk across the street and walk along the Heart of Boerne walking path to historic downtown Main, which is a shaded walk along the creek.
