Great stay
Best Western Plus Frontier InnThis hotel did a really good job of cleaning during the pandemic. The room was spotless. Lots of nice grassy areas outside for the pups. They also had a delicious hot breakfast served individually for carryout or a few tables for eat-in. They have definitely gone the extra mile to make their guests feel welcome and safe.

Nice, But...
Best Western Plus Wendover InnThis is a nice hotel with lots of grassy areas for pets, but even though Best Westerns website states that during the corona virus outbreak they are blocking rooms for 24-72 hours after cleaning if possible, the man at the desk denied they are doing any such thing. he even told me it wasn’t on the website! I just looked it up and it definitely states that that is their policy. Just so you know if you are concerned about that.

Lots os space
Pacific Gardens InnWe stayed at the Pacific Gardens Inn for two nights off-season in January with our cavalier King Charles spaniel. The room was very clean and large enough to move around and not feel cramped. We loved the wood burning fireplace! Breakfast was great with pastries from a local bakery, make-your-own waffles, cereals, etc. the beach is just across the road and through the grounds of Asilomar Conference Center, a very pleasant walk,. There is also a nice boardwalk that runs through the dunes. Would definitely return.

Nice dog friendly hotel walking distance from Wall Drug
Econo Lodge WallA very nice place to stay in Wall, SD. Very clean with no doggy odors. Wall’s one-block long downtown is a fun, dog-friendly place to walk and shop with your furry friend.

An okay hotel
Super 8 by Wyndham Carson CityThis hotel isn’t bad—the rooms were clean and had no doggy odor or strong disinfectant to cover up doggy odors either. There are only two small patches of artificial grass so we ended up walking over to the nearby Motel 6 which had lots of lovely grass. Breakfast wasn’t especially exciting and should have been better for the price we paid. But on the whole, not a bad place to stay in Carson City.
