Coffee with the doggo!
True GroundsLove this place-- they have great coffee. They will allow dogs at their outdoor tables and in the main cafe area but dogs are not allowed in the main indoor seating area. They also have dog treats at the counter for your buddy while you're grabbing your order!
Regulars here with our pup!
Heritage Farm Ice CreamWe come here all the time with our pup after a nice walk by the river at the river walk across the street. They have doggie sundaes on the menu for the dogs or just plain dog biscuits if your dog is lactose intolerant.
Allows pets indoors!
Brew'd Awakening CoffeehausWe love enjoying a sandwich and coffee with our pup here! They will also often sell homemade doggie cookies so your dog can enjoy a treat alongside you.

Mine Falls ParkThis park has great trails and a nice field area. However, there is no actual dog park here, it is just a regular park and dogs are NOT allowed off leash-- they must be on leash at all times.
Main park > Dog park
Hudson Dog ParkThe main park is great with lots of trails and plenty of other people walking their dogs around. I'm personally not a fan of the dog park area because it's very dusty and dirty with there not being much grass or anything. Owners do not always clean up after their dogs and I notice dog fights tend to occur more frequently here than at other parks we will go to.
Great walk but terrible parking!
Cat Rock ParkWe like coming here when we can! The trails are really nice from spring to fall and there's a little pond where dogs can swim and cool off. This is one of the few off-leash parks in the area where dogs can wander around on trails by themselves. My only complaints are that parking can be terrible here as the lot is small and the cops/residents are ticket firendly and people dont always clean after their animals because the only trash can is at the entrance...
Drink with your Dog!
Navigation Brewing CompanyWe love coming here after a long day with our dog! There are usually plenty of other people with their dogs here as well as dogs are allowed both inside and outside year round. They are always rotating their craft beer menu each week and there are usually always food trucks around. Everyone is super friendly and are pretty much dog people as well so you can be rest assured that both you and your dog will be very welcomed here! Don't forget to pickup a Navigation dog bandana as well and be featured on #DogsofNavigationBrewingCo on Instagram!
Love taking my dog here!
Western AvenueThere are always lots of art exhibits happening here and this is definitely one of the most dog friendly places in Lowell. Many of the artists/residents will have their dogs with them as well at their studios. Each studio has its own opening times, but most will be open the first Saturday of each month. There is also a dog friendly brewery called Navigation attached to the building. This place is truly a hidden gem to explore with your dog.
