Difficult terrain

Little Grand Canyon Trail

This is a great trail if you have athletic dogs and are in decent shape yourself. Be warned that there are some parts with difficult and slippery terrain. My 12 and 13 year old huskies did pretty well on the trail, but did need to be lifted up and down some of the steep and slippery parts. There are parts that can get muddy if it's rained recently. It will take a couple hours to do the entire trail if you like to stop and take in the scenery, so go several hours before dusk. If you just want to do the easier part, enter the trail at the top parking lot entrance and stop at the observation area.

Beautiful trails

Giant City State Park

Park welcomes leashed dogs on the trails. Visitor center can recommend which trails to do with your pup. We walked all of them! 😁

Dogs welcome outside

Peachbarn Winery & Café

I agree with everything Erika said! Dog friendly outside with a nice patio and tables overlooking the pond. An on-site friendly dog roams around that got along with my two pups.
