Once again, I do apologize for the miscommunication.
When you dropped your dog off, you told us that you really liked the way that we did your daughter's dog, and wished for the same cut for yours. Your daughter's dog does have a longer coat, so, while we did trim and even out the coat, we did not cut length off of it, so that we could begin growing it to the length of your daughter's. When you picked up, Ben asked if it was the cut you were looking for, but you did not respond at the time, and just walked out with your dog. The next morning, I did receive a phone call from you. You initially asked to speak with our receptionist, but as she was not in yet, you asked to speak with the owner. I replied, "That would be me, this is Stephen, what can I do for you?" You then started in about your disappointment with your dog's haircut. As I was not involved with it the previous evening, I asked for a moment to check notes or ask around to see what happened. You did not give me this chance, and simply insisted that we should have taken length off the body. I did then apologize for the miscommunication, and tried to ask you what we could do to make things up for you, but at this point, you told me that you were going to go back to your old groomer, then you hung up on me.
We are more than happy to make things right for you, and give your dog the haircut that you wanted.
