North Paws Pet CareI called and sent email about taking care of my dogs next month. The phone line connects to a voicemail that doesn't say North Paws, and the email was returned saying Address not found.

An OK stopover
La Quinta Inn by Wyndham OdessaEasy parking near the room. Little grass for dog business. Easy check in. (Fox news playing at breakfast.)

OK overnight
Red Roof Inn TexarkanaEasy check-in and parking. Clear indication of where to walk the dogs. Best refrigerator of my trip with separate freezer.

Comfortable ambience
Best Western Plus Wilkes Barre Center CityI'm not entirely sure why I liked it as much as I did. A bit off I-81, confusion re the parking (a downtown hotel, so private on-site parking), directions unclear re where elevator was... BUT welcoming to the dogs, grassy area within a block (again, it's downtown) to let dogs do, excellent buffet breakfast and they were OK with "well behaved dogs" being in the room alone while I went to breakfast. And they put us at the end of a hall so not too much traffic to invite barking. I'd gladly go there again. (Plus nice Buddha and other spiritual statuary.)
