A very good overnight stop with two dogs
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham TucumcariWe stayed overnight at this La Quinta on our way home east on I-40 based on the BringFido reviews, and had a good nights' sleep. While I prefer the La Qunta's with linoleum floors, our carpeted room was very clean and did NOT smell like a dog!! We had a good size room where we easily tucked our two crates over the the side and had a lot of spare room to walk around in. The property seemed very new with a lot of outlets in our room to plug in chargers. Bathroom was very clean and had all promised amenities. Check in was a little slow due to a situation out of anyones control but both receptionists were very kind and apologetic. Later, they both gave us good local food recommendations. The outside pet area was a good sized area covered in some sort of artificial grass and as it seemed very absorbent, I thought it was ideal for pets. The parking lot, while not huge, was well lit and provided enough sidewalks for walks. Pet refuse bags were generously provided. Breakfast was basic but ample in supply. I would stay here again for an overnight visit. I felt many of the guests would agree as many were there with pets and all seemed very happy.

good overnight stop on our cross country trip
Best Western Coach HouseHighs were nice grassy area for our pets, basic but ample breakfast, easy check in, dog biscuits and candy for pets and pet owners, good food choices around and ease with all rooms in a true motor inn style and all rooms on one floor I took one bone off as the properly seems a little dated and many other options are nearby. I would stay again!!!

Two Non-opposable thumbs up
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Albuquerque MidtownWe spent one night here with our two pups as we are driving cross country. While in a more urban setting, there was plenty of space to walk our dogs. There was a pet relief station near the front, with clean up bags provided, and even nicer was a courtyard pointed out by the receptionist where dogs could wander around freely. It too had a generous supply of sturdy pick up bags! Inside we had a generous king bed room which easily accommodated two medium dog crates. The good sized refrigerator was greatly appreciated. While we were given a third floor room, the elevator was easily accessible and readily available . We saw that we had neighbors on both sides of us, as well as across the hall, but we spent a quiet night at this La Quinta. We did a lot of research on BringFido and were not disappointed in our choice. I took off one bone due to the selection of restaurants nearby but I was told there were some a short drive away. That just did not work for us and we would have like to walk to something. Breakfast was adequate and the employees were all helpful and friendly.

Good and improving !
La Quinta by Wyndham JoplinWe passed through Joplin on a recent cross country trip with our tow Westie dogs. On the upside, this location of LaQuinta was easy to get to, had many rooms and we were given one on the first floor with easy access to the door. On the flip side, this location meant it was very busy and popular with truckers so people were coming and going and it was a bit noisy for our taste. The room itself was newly remodeled with a laminate wood floor so no pet smells, which was great. However, it was so newly remodeled that there was not even a picture on the wall so it seems quite spartan. The large refrigerator was appreciated and worked well. There is a lot of potential for the grounds which are in the middle of a renovation. It looks like there will be a nice fire pit area with soft furniture soon and it is adjacent to a large pet relief area. Clean up bags are generously provided although they are little small and we have small dogs!
Staff was nice but could have had more people cleaning up the dirty parking lot and overflowing garbage bins. A big plus was the attached Old Chicago restaurant which made it so easy to pop down and pick up some take away food. They would even deliver to the room if desired.
