Worked perfectly for us.
La Quinta by Wyndham Dallas Plano WestWe arrived late and left early so did not experience much of the hotel. The room was clean. The dog was welcome. Breakfast was good. They were understaffed and when we arrived the ONE employee was fixing someone's TV and we just stood at the front desk for 20 minutes waiting for them to return. This is the difference between 4 and 5 stars.
Awesome Treatment
Virgin Hotels New OrleansThis is a GREAT place to stay with or without a pet. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is two blocks from a park and close to the French Quarter. My sons also had a room reserved and they made sure that the dog could freely go to either room on only one dog charge. I would go back here in a second.
Easy Stay, Great Location
Best Western Plus Rio Grande InnThe Best Western is a fine motel. They are very dog friendly, charging $30 for a big dog. The location is about a .60 mile walk to a very nice park for walking the dog. It is also .50 miles from old town. No worries with this place.
Loved it but pet fee is very high
Staybridge Suites Gulf Shores an IHG HotelThis is a great hotel. Room is beautiful. They treat dogs well. Breakfast was good. It is set back in a little shopping mall with a little room to walk the dog (although not too much). My only complaint is that they charged $75 for 1-6 nights of hosting the dog. We only needed one night. Why do we have to pay the same charge as someone staying 6 nights? Very expensive.
Good stopover with excellent breakfast
Best Western StarkeThe staff at the Best Western were very nice. The room was clean and did NOT smell like pets. The parking lot seemed safe. There were friendly people in town at the restaurants. We only stayed overnight and it is not the Ritz Carlton but it really met our needs. Thank you.
Very friendly!
Candlewood Suites Idaho Falls an IHG HotelThe proprietors were so happy to see us - ready with a bone. The room was spacious with a sitting room and bedroom. Our dog is quiet so there was no problem with us leaving the property to go out for dinner. Thank you so much!
Nice hotel at a good price
Ramkota Hotel & Conference CenterIt was no problem bringing Smiley (our 65 pound pittie) to Casper. They gave us a room in the back, but it had no pet odor. We were able to leave the dog in the room alone because he was quiet and go out to dinner. They have a small dog walking area in the back with poop bags.
Great stay, price is steep though
Best Western Plus Ramkota HotelThe Best Western Ramkota in Sioux Falls is a very nice motel. Everyone was very nice and they loved our dog. The rooms were comfortable and well kept. The hotel has a swimming pool that we did not use. They have a nice restaurant and bar. But the price is pretty high. We can usually find most of this, with a dog charge for less than $150. The Ramkota was closer to $270 for one night. We liked it but might try to do better on price next time.
Solid Stay
La Quinta by Wyndham BentonvilleWe are grateful for any hotel that allows dogs and we got very nice service in Bentonville. We have stayed in a lot of dog-friendly hotels but this was the first one where the rooms just smelled like dog. The staff were very willing to move us, but the first room was just overpowering. They shut the room down and ordered a deep-cleaning - so it might be better. It was also wet and rainy in Arkansas for the week prior to our stay so it is possible that the dog smell was unavoidable but we have not encountered that before. On the bright side, this La Quinta is in a very convenient location.
Great stop on the road
Best Western Santa Rosa InnI would have given 5 bones but I am just not sure why a roadside Best Western costs $168. Still seems high. That said, the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and functional. Smiley slept like a puppy. There were even a few nice parks in short driving distance for Smiley to get in some exercise.
Elk City Success
Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Elk City an IHG HotelThis was a great stop-over motel. The rooms were clean. They welcomed dogs. The shower was good. They went OUT of their way to serve a nice breakfast during the pandemic time.
Great Dog People
Hilton Promenade at Branson LandingThe Hilton and Branson Landing is a very nice place to take your dog. Everyone in Branson is seemingly a pit bull fan. Dog pillow and bowl were provided. Great walking space just outside.
Worked for us.
Best Western SundownerThey did raise the price to $30 for a dog...which seems relatively expensive, but the motel has easy access to the rooms through the parking lot and they were plenty helpful and friendly. We also ordered food in from a very friendly restaurant in town.
Perfect Stopover Point
First Choice Inns at the SwellThe bed was soft. The showers were warm. There was plenty of space to walk the dog and some interesting history in town. When we left in the morning our car was there with all our belongings. What else could we want. Oh- and morning staff on 5/29/2020 was extremely helpful.
Nice hotel. Helpful people.
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Albuquerque MidtownThis was a great place for our dog. Nice room. Respectful people. Good amenities. The neighborhood is not great - Otherwise 5 bones.
