Do not bring your dog here!!
Lake Mayer ParkThis should not even be included here. We got out of the car and walked 5 feet on the trail and noticed the sign that dogs are not allowed!!
Great hiking for this pup
Skidaway Island State ParkWe visited on a very cool day, but that didn't stop us from enjoying this lovely park. We stopped and got a map from the friendly people at the visitor's center and were able to spend about 4.5 hours hiking on the trails. Because of the weather, we only encountered a handful of people out hiking, but they were all friendly. Also lucked out and didn't run into any alligators!(signs are posted) Would recommend this to any pups looking to get out and stretch their legs! Fyi you do have to pay to park here.
The food was good
Vinnie Van Go-Go'sAgreed with the other review about this location being very particular about where dogs can be seated. We had to wait for another dog to leave before we were seated in the patio. The staff didn't seem that excited to accommodate dogs. Would probably not return.
A fun time
B&D BurgersWe ate here on our first day in town. The weather was lovely and the patio was very crowded. The service was quick and they brought me out a water bowl. The only downside is the tables are very close together and my tail almost got run over by strollers passing through. Great burgers and cold drinks! Oh yeah they also have heaters!!
You pay for that view
Tubby's Seafood River StreetWe stopped in here after walking past and noticing the patio open after the big snow. Everyone was very dog friendly and accommodating to us. The waiter even brought me out a water dish and a piece of bacon! The people food was only so-so. Would stop in again for drinks and that view.
