Don't stay here. I would give it 0 stars if I could.

Greenfield Inn

We were exhausted from driving 12 hours and settled on the Greenfield Inn because it was nearby. we almost instantly regretted our choice. We get there around 9 pm in the evening and they did check in through a plexiglass window, given the current circumstances around Covid19 I thought nothing of it. I soon realized they do business through a slot in the plexi glass after dark. I asked if my car would be safe. the gentleman at the desk reassured me it was. He said he would have to charge a pet fee for each of the dogs. no problem, I understand that since there is usually some extra clean up involved so the place to ensure it looking fresh for other guests. We drove around to our room. there were people drinking and smoking pot on the upper level balcony. We opened the door and the place reeked. Not of dog, but musty. it was also very outdated and rundown looking (except the tub which looked new). There wasnt a refrigerator of microwave in the room. although they had the furniture that it was supposed to be on. We were too tired to bother trying to change rooms or hotels. The door handles had weird water spots like it was cleaned with dirty water. We traveled with lysol and clorox wipes and disinfected the room ourselves. When we went to go to bed. one of the beds had yellow stained sheets and one of the pillows (i kid you not) had a blood stain on it. We had our own sheets and pillows in the car so we used those and made the most of the room. We were given a wifi passowrd for the free wifi. However if you dont have a room in the front of the motel, near the office, you have no wifi signal. You guessed it, we were in the back. This place was a flea bag hotel. It was so incredibly bad, we can't believe we stayed (and survived ) and survived the night but we were desperate. Do yourself a favor, I wouldn't even bother stopping in the city, move on to the next town and BringFido will have some great recommendations.

Great place

Sunset Motel

We just checked in and we are in love with the place already. The area around it seems like it has seen better days but the motel has a great vibe. The rooms are clean, good sized and they have everything you need. the pillows are comfortable. They even left a rubber duckie on the tub for us. The place is very retro in its appearance but that just adds to the flavor of staying at an older route 66 motel (this one has been in business since 1959). Despite being older, you can tell the owners sitll have a passion for running their Motel and take great pride in giving their guests a wonderful stay.

I love this place and so did my dogs.

Cattle Country Lodge

We loved our stay. we are in the process of moving cross country and it has been stressful on our 2 year old frenchie, Snax. This place was so comfortable and clean, we all felt like we had come home. the woman who checked us in was so charming and welcoming. The room was a good size and everything we needed was there. We are just sorry we didnt have a chance to eat at their restaurant. If we are ever in the area again, we know where we will be staying.
