Very good
Candlewood Suites Auburn an IHG HotelAmple potty room for Fido, clean and large rooms, and handy to downtown.
Disgusting
Homewood Suites by Hilton Jacksonville Deerwood ParkWhen we checked the room, there were urine stains all over the carpet In an otherwise lovely 2 queen bed suite. We told the clerk the room was unacceptable due to the urine stains. He said the only substitute he had was a room with a king bed. We checked that room. It was not a suite and it was 50% smaller than the booked room, which was disappointing for the extended stay. He also was not going to budge on the room rate for a smaller room. We called BringFido and the Rep was able to find another hotel and manage the refund on our credit card. Excellent for BringFido and👎 for the hotel.
Very good
Candlewood Suites Tallahassee an IHG HotelFido’s designated potty area was skimpy but we used the entire periphery as did other pet owners and the hotel staff said nothing. The room was large and comfortable. The location was good for access to everything we wanted. There is a large off leash dog park, Tom Brown dog park, 8 miles distant. The area was covered with grass unlike some of the other parks, which are primarily dirt (mud in this rainy area).
Perfect last minute booking.
Residence Inn by Marriott Jacksonville AirportClean and comfortable room. Fido’s potty area was small but the trees on the edge of the shopping center next door were good.
Excellent
Crosswinds InnThe room was large and comfortable. There is a park right across the street with a tree section that is not utilized by children. In addition there is an unused airport within a 5 minute drive where the dog can be worked off leash on OB and running free. Bring lots of mosquito repellent for humans and Fido. The only negative is the room walls allow sound through from other rooms, a little bothersome at 2 AM when the bars close but it didn’t last long. The owners are very nice people.
Should have been great
Oxford Suites Spokane ValleyThere was an area for running free right behind the hotel and 100 yards to the river for miles of walking and marking. We could watch the river from the 4th floor. There is no housekeeping service when you stay for more than 1 night, which we were not told. With the grab and run practice during Covid-19, we had a substantial amount of garbage accumulated in the room and were surprised it was still there upon returning in the afternoon. When we inquired about the absence of housekeeping, we were told it was policy to prevent staff from entering a room once it was occupied. REALLY! What should have been a wonderful stay was marred by policy.
Very satisfied
