Private and Friendly
The Beaches Guest Rooms and CottagesIf you don't have to be on the beach and you like the played back non-corporate lodging, this is the place to stay. We are two big humans so the bed in our room made sleep a bit cozier than we like. However, who goes to the beach to spend a lot of time in their room. Late evening on your semi private porch, owner and mom are fantastic, and the pool was inviting. Within seconds of checking in the owners beautiful and sweet mom was giving me detailed directions of points of interest that was also pet friendly. She was so helpful! We look forward to staying longer and getting one of the cottages. Saxon our dog had his best sleep there.

Very accommodating
Motel 6 Wilkes Barre PA - ArenaThis new facility comes across as a European concept room. However it was a large room with two burner stove, three quarter size fridge, and flat screen TV. We used delivery for food and there were plenty of restaurants delivering to the hotel. We travel with a dog and were happy with the strip of grass and complimentary bags offered. I figured since the dog area was small travelers would not believe it was 5 stars, but really there was nothing wrong in picking this hotel.
