Cold and uncomfortable
Rosemont B&B CottagesThe property was very dog friendly and a cute older style room. The driveway is extremely narrow and the Gardeners room we stayed in had 3 space heaters running in order to help the wall heater, yet still drafty. The bed was hard and there is no shower. You have to order your breakfast 24 hours in advance, which we forgot, so there are no options for food. Otherwise easy to check in and out and plenty of area for the dog to potty.

Limited friendliness
Journeyman DistilleryDogs only allowed in outdoor areas and there is no service out there during the week. Was told some service on weekends but limited now since summer is over.

Nice staff
Oaks EateryWas asked if my dog is a service dog since they are only allowed to stay indoors if of this status. Outdoor seating not available since limited staff. Workers were dog people and very friendly and allowed us a table since “service dog” Just be aware business policy dictates this. probably more options in summer when outdoor seating being used. People were very nice and food delicious!

Not friendly
Domaine Berrien CellarsThis place is not dog friendly. was looking forward to drinking some reds with my sweet super friendly fur baby. The tasting room is in front but dogs not allowed in or around the area. They told us to go to the back lawn where there is no access to any wines or service. You are expected to pick up the wines from front without your dog and walk it all the way to the back! insane! This should
not be on list of dog friendly places…anything but. on other had Lemon Creek across the street is very dog friendly with lots of outdoor seating and some good wine! also Hickory Creek down the road allowed us inside even with their small venue.
