Horrible Experience
Best Western Plus Kingston Hotel and Conference CenterThe room being small, dark, all the way at the end of the property, and located directly on the enclosed courtyard housing noisy arcade games was not pleasant but what's tolerated when you travel with pets. It was the guests smoking marijuana in one of the rooms in close proximity to ours that was the reason we had to shorten our scheduled stay and leave the premises. On the evening of our first night, we noticed the aroma in the hallway. On the morning of our second day, the smell was in our room making us ill and making a second night there unacceptable. We went to management who told us all they would do was fine the guests $250 if they were caught smoking. Taking everything into account, we could not spend another minute there. The total room charge was a whopping $328.90! This experience is not what you would expect when paying that kind of rate, pets or no pets. Fortunately, Celeste at BringFido, was able to get us a refund for the prepaid second night's stay. She was extremely professional and made this horrible experience slightly better.
