Super friendly employees
Hampton Inn Salt Lake City/LaytonGreat visit, amazingly friendly staff. My only complaint is that there was a good degree of green scum buildup at the bottom of the shower doors and the track that those doors ride in. Otherwise it was a perfect stay and I would happily stay there again.
Nice little hotel
AmericInn by Wyndham Laramie Near University of WyomingIt's a nice little place that appears to be either a new building or it's a recently renovated one that was clean, nice and I had no issues with either the place or its employees. Everyone was friendly and polite and they even called me several hours prior to my arrival to confirm my reservation, a first for me with BringFido hotels. While not overly opulent, it's a place I'd stay again if I was back in town.
It was tolerable
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Visalia/Sequoia GatewayThere isn't anything I can put my finger on that was bad, more like a general feel of barely getting by The employees were polite but the room smelled like too much bleach was used in cleaning it. It was adequate for a last minute stop that I had not planned on making.
Good to go
New York New York Hotel & CasinoHad zero issues when I stayed there. My dog and I were treated wonderfully and I saw a few other doggos around with their humans as well. Will definitely be back the next time I'm in town.
Fantastic place
Courtyard by Marriott Salt Lake City DowntownNot only is the outside nice, but the inside is much nicer than the Marriott's that I remember. The room was incredible, employees friendly and polite, and I will definitely be back.
Historic Plains Hotel
Historic Plains HotelI want to start off by saying that the staff was INCREDIBLE. Friendly, polite, helpful and I had zero issues with them. The problem I had was the utter lack of cleanliness and things in general. There was what appeared to be mold in the grout of the shower tiles, some unknown black colored substance next to the drain and several other unclean areas. The hallway on the 4th floor STUNK of cigarette smoke and the elevator smelled like an elderly man's overwhelming cologne. The window A/C unit was old, outdated and half the words written on the various buttons were rubbed off. Lighting was very dim and they used a multi-outlet extension cord to plug in a desk lamp, small (>3 cubic foot) fridge, a microwave and 1 or 2 other items. I feel that constituted a fire hazard with that many things plugged into an outlet of that age. The building was apparently built in 1911 and they have tried to keep it as original as possible.
Also, there is a complete lack of parking for the hotel. They offer you a map with "directions" to 3 or 4 areas you can park. None of which are on or what I would consider close to the hotel itself. They are down alleys, across 2+ streets and there is ZERO protection or even the illusion of a safe place to leave your vehicle.
While myself and my dog were welcomed there, I cannot imagine I will ever go back.
