Very dog friendly, questionable location

TownePlace Suites by Marriott New Orleans Downtown/Canal Street

New hotel with nice rooms including a kitchen and good TV with netflix/hulu (using your own account). Floors are vinyl, so not a ton of pet fur or smells. Hotel is a ways from the French Quarter down a less than ideal street and next to an abandoned hotel and homeless camp. No dog relief areas; grass a block away past the homeless camp. Free breakfast til 9 weekdays, 10 weekends. Bars on roof and in lobby

Great dog friendly patio

The Bulldog Uptown

As described in the other reviews. Order drinks and food inside and head out to the patio with your dog. Huge draft beer selection and a big TV outside

Great drinks and music

Gazebo Cafe

Server brought our dog water right away. The ice cream daiquiris are amazing and you can sit outside and watch a live band with your dog

Great bar

Lucy's Retired Surfers Bar & Restaurant

Great food and drinks, friendly servers, and, most importantly, dogs allowed inside. Walked in for a drink and ended up staying for a whole soccer game.
