Super Dog Friendly, Amazing Food!
Taka Mediterranean Bar and GrillWe ate here our first night of vacation, and liked it so much we went back again later in the week. The staff was super dog friendly, and even had a blueberry yogurt snack for dogs for a $3 charge, (money goes to a local shelter). Human food was the phenomenal as well! Great views from the deck. All and all, a wonderful exerience each time!

Good Quick Stop
Bug Light ParkWe stopped here for about 20 minutes to stretch our legs and let our pup stretch hers while driving from Boothbay to Cape Elizabeth. It was a great little stop, and a cute little lighthouse. Lots of other dogs running around.

Beautiful Location!
Fort Williams ParkThis was such a beautiful lighthouse, and the cliff walk was a great walk to take our dog on. Everyone was friendly, and every turn of the walk had a beautiful vantage point.

Great Lunch, Beautiful Location!
Bite Into MaineWe made this a destination, after I kept reading over and over again about how these were the best lobster rolls in Maine. My husband said these were by far the best he had all week! (He had two, they were so good!) I was happy to have the Caprese sandwich and potato salad, which were both delicious. There were picnic benches to sit at, and a bowl of water our for dogs. Not to mention a stunning lighthouse and beautiful park. Make this a must stop. Highly recommend.

Great Little Spot!
East Boothbay General StoreWe ate breakfast here on our last day in Boothbay. Our dog was welcome to come into the store with us, but there was also a picnic table and some comfy benches outside. We both loved our breakfast (peanut butter and bacon on wheat bread, where have you been all my life?!) and I was only sorry we didn't have a chance to come in for lunch or dinner. The menu looked amazing. It was very diverse and had a lot of non-seafood options for those of us who don't love lobster rolls. Highly recommend.

So Dog Friendly!
Boothbay Lobster WharfWe ate here on our first night in Boothbay. Everyone was incredibly friendly to us and to our dog. Dogs are allowed inside where the bar is in addition to the deck outside. We had an amazing dinner on the deck overlooking the bay. There are big picnic tables, with space between them, so our dog had lots of room. There were lots of other people with dogs there as well. Highly recommend.

Mediocre Food
Whales TaleThis was the only restaurant we ate at in Boothbay that we did not enjoy. We both got the clam chowder, which was okay, but neither of us enjoyed our main meals. I don't mind paying for good food, but it was disappointing to spend so much money on a dinner that was mediocre to poor at best. You are mostly paying for the view, and the view and food are better elsewhere.

Good Breakfast
Blue Moon CafeWe stopped here for breakfast. When we arrived, the deck was full, so we sat in a small patio area behind the restaurant. They had tables with umbrellas set up. It would have been nice to sit on the deck and see the water, but I was glad they could accommodate us out back. The food was delicious.

Beautiful & Relaxing
Downeast Windjammer Cruise Lines and Bar Harbor FerryI loved this cruise. We packed a lot of activities in our weeklong trip to Maine, and this was one of the highlights. It was so relaxing to be out on the water for a peaceful two hours, and enjoy how beautiful Frenchman Bay is. The crew were so friendly to our dog, and stopped by to make a fuss over her multiple times. This was her first experience on the water and she loved it!

Blueberry Pie is a Must!
Stewman's Lobster Pound DowntownIf you are traveling with a dog, this is your spot for lunch. There is a spacious deck with great views of the harbor. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and brought our dog her own bowl of water. All the food was delicious, but the blueberry pie was the best we had during our weeklong trip to Maine.

Brussels Sprouts!
BRGR BarWe stopped here while on vacation. The food was fabulous and the Brussels sprouts appetizer is not to be missed! The staff were friendly and welcoming to our dog, and the restaurant had a bowl of water and a bowl of biscuits out front for its pooch patrons. All and all a great dinner and a nice spot.
