Evacu-vacation

I had to evactuate from hurricane Laura. My company waited until last minute to let us evac, and this was the cheapest pet-friendly hotels I could find in the area. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location. The bathroom has very nice tile and a lovely shower. The room was rather small (though I guess big enough for my dog an i). Pet bowls provided, as well as treats. Small patch of grass utilized as a potty station outside, with handy waste bags for cleaning up. Only two negative things: the toilet is super low to the ground. Think kindergarten classroom potty. Second, there was a metal panel above the bed, and some type of cricket or grasshopper was chirping in there all night long. Not really worth it for the price, but a nice place altogether.
