Great place
SpringHill Suites by Marriott Fairfax Fair OaksWe’ve stayed here a couple times and it’s been a great stay each time. The rooms are clean, Beds comfy, nice little fridge and sink area, plenty of places to walk the pup. The staff is super friendly, especially Chris. He has such a great heart and really loved our dog. We appreciate the little things when traveling with our pets. There are also lots of food choices nearby that deliver. Super convenient during these times.

Not so great
La Quinta by Wyndham Virginia BeachThis LaQuinta is bare bones minimal. The parking area was littered with trash and even mattresses dumped by their dumpster. We had two drunk guys drinking near their truck in the parking lot when we arrived back one night. The second floor is for pets and it wreaked of PineSol and bleach (perhaps to mask smells)There was a giant pile of dirty linens in the hallway all night until morning when we left. Some of the toiletries were missing in the bathroom. It just wasn’t a great stay.

Place needs some work
La Quinta by Wyndham Elk CityHotel was very dated. Chipped paint, carpets looked dirty, and even though it’s a no smoking facility, we smelled smoke throughout the building. There is a decent grassy area to walk your dog.
