Amazing Place to Visit
Thomas Jefferson's MonticelloMonticello was just awesome. Of course, dogs are not allowed in the buildings but with two of us, we were able to tag team. The grounds are extensive, we did outdoor tours of the gardens and slavery history, which the pup attended. The trail up to the house is fairly steep...but the house is on top of a hill. Dog bowls for water are provided by the cafe. Staff were super friendly.

Perfect for Pups
Barboursville VineyardsThis is a great place to stop for wine, walk the pup and chill. Dogs are allowed INSIDE, as well as on the patio. It's a short walk to the ruins to stretch your legs.
