Higher pet fee than stated
Comfort Suites Sioux FallsWhen I checked in I was told the pet fee was $25 and not $15 as stated here in BringFido. The location is great (great restaurant around the corner) and the hot breakfast was very good. The room was spacious, but unfortunately not very clean. In the bathroom we found a used hand towel and someone had used the soap provided for the room’s guests. The toilet tank lid was resting on top of the seat like someone was fixing it and ran out in a hurry. The toilet did run on and off the whole time. There were dirt footprints on the floor. The sink was barely draining, and there was very little water pressure. We told the front desk staff but they said the handyman was gone and just shrugged, like they didn’t know what to say. However, the shower was great. The bed sheets didn’t smell fresh. It was very late when we finally got to bed and realized that so at that point decided to turn the lights off and just go to sleep. The front desk staff wasn’t very friendly, but not rude either. For the price of the room plus pet fee, we don’t think we’d go back there.

Basic spot for overnight stop
Days Inn by Wyndham Marietta White WaterThe room had vinyl flooring which I always dislike as those are always filthy. I swear those hard floors never get mopped. Coming out of the shower and walking barefooted to the bed turned my clean feet brown. This non-smoking room smelled like it had been smoked in. Not terribly but still an unpleasant smell for this non-smoker. The room could use some fixing up and updating. The bed looked and smelled clean. No breakfast available despite what the description says. I know we need Covid accommodations but a grab and go breakfast and coffee would have been nice, as many hotels offer. Would I stay there again? Hmmm, not sure about that.
