Friendly staff, but needs a lot of work.

I booked a king non-smoking room and was told none was clean when we arrived so was given two double beds instead. Checking in was fine, but when I went to the room it was definitely a smoking room. I asked for a different room and when I went in that one, it also smelled of smoke and other bad odors. The shower curtain rod was hanging off the wall and there was no shower curtain, and everything looked really dirty and old. The woman working the front desk was very nice and canceled my booking for me. She also mentioned there is a new owner and they have some work to do. I would not recommend staying here until they do a lot of renovations and a thorough cleaning.
