Housekeeping will not clean your room if you have dog

We stayed 5 nights at the Omni in Dec. 2021 with our dog. Each day, I had to call multiple times daily just to get our room cleaned. The housekeeper came to our room the first day, saw our pup in the crate, and told us I am not cleaning your room with a dog and walked out. This is supposed to be a dog friendly hotel. We arranged to be out of the room at 11am daily with our dog to allow for housekeeping and told the front desk on our way out but they still didn’t show. Each day, we came back to an uncleaned room. I spent so much time dealing with the front desk and housekeeping just to get our room cleaned like the other rooms and it overshadowed our vacation. I usually do not post negative reviews but they earned it.

You can't market yourself as a "dog friendly" hotel and have your housekeeping staff refuse to clean guest rooms because the guests have a dog. Our dog is either with us or crated in the room. He does not even bark when you enter If you have a housekeeping staff afraid of dogs, assign someone else to clean these rooms. Worst housekeeping experience ever at a hotel Will not return!

Clean, comfortable hotel in a great location

Staff was helpful and friendly to our pup. Was able able to relieve our pup in front of hotel. Clean rooms with comfortable beds but a bit small for a family of 4. Has a great view of street with Christmas lights. Great breakfast! Will definitely return.
