Nice Area
The Island in Pigeon ForgeThe Island is a fairly large area which allowed us plenty of space to walk our Golden Retriever. I saw a few posted dog friendly shops, but I feel like they’re more small dog friendly than large dog. It’s just such a busy area and some shops are small that we felt it would be better to just walk instead. It would probably be better at a less busy time.

Great Location, Facilities OK..
Red Roof Inn & Suites Pigeon Forge - ParkwayThis hotel is right on the strip so it was within walking distance of all the places we wanted to go, which is great with a dog so he could burn some energy on our way. The room was large enough for my dog’s XL crate, there’s no pet fees, and they allow dogs up to 80 lbs. We were disappointed, however, that there wasn’t much grass for dogs to relieve themselves or play. All in all, a good place for a last minute trip.
