Couldn't stay
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Downtown Conference CenterBeautiful place but couldn't get into back entrance with the dog. Homeless man advanced quickly, only backed off when dog snarled. I didn't feel safe in neighborhood, went elsewhere.
Room great
Days Inn by Wyndham Birmingham/WestRoom very clean except for floors. Needed to be mopped.

2439 FairfieldGreat place, clean and friendly. Dogs had a great time also! Jimmie super nice at arrival, but Kim is a real charmer. Personally plus!
This time extremely disappointing.
Red Roof Inn PLUS+ Pittsburgh East - MonroevilleWe have stayed here before and really enjoyed it. I had requested 1st floor as traveling with 2 dogs and I am slightly disabled. Given 2nd floor and told no 1st floor available. Got to room, someone else in it! Returned to office, given a 1st floor that magically became open. This is a Red Roof +, but this time no bottle water, no muffin, no dog treats, etc. When I inquired at the desk the next morning I was told I had not booked "Premium" room. I had booked the same type room that I had booked last year..... At least the young man, on Saturday morning, was much more pleasant than the the 2 working the office on Friday. They were very short with me and I should have realized right then that this would not be the wonderful experience I had last October. Walking around the room on Saturday evening we realized that the bottoms of our feet were getting BLACK, and had to be washed. Obviously the floor had not been mopped for some time but this was not immediately noticed because of the laminate flooring. Many things about this motel is good for us...location, dog walking area, price. However, based on this experience, I doubt we will return.
