Not Great
Best Western Plus Twin View Inn & SuitesWouldn’t let me check in 45 minutes early even though the hotel was clearly not nearly full, so my two dogs and I sat in the parking lot surrounded by cold rain and snow. Once checked in, the stay was uneventful and ok. Dills Deli nearby has excellent food, and they deliver.

Great Staff, ok Accommodation
Orland InnA little old and not everything works perfectly, but the front desk staff are very helpful and want to make your stay pleasant. It’s clean and reasonably well equipped for short stays. Rooms 115 - 118 are next to the small grassy area for your dogs. Located in a strip mall by the freeway there are adjacent grocery and dollar stores. Staff get 5 bones, inn gets 3.

Cheap but needs work
Motel 6 Buttonwillow CA CentralIf you get a room number between 115-120 they open up to a grassy patch to walk the dog. It’s not bad, just not very inviting. Weird plumbing issues, like hot water coming out of both hot and cold taps, no working bath plugs.
