Super 8 by Wyndham ForsythLong black hair all over the bathroom area (counters, floor, and the wall across from the toilet). It was gross! Black mold visible in the shower and the sink water only came out hot, very hot! Our room was supposed to be $87 total and that’s what I signed for. The receptionist stated that included everything. Now, I’m being charged $117 and being told it’s a pet fee. I have absolutely no problem paying pet fees, but don’t tell me my total is one charge, have me sign for that charge, then add it on after. We stopped here and slept for 5 hours. That’s it. For almost $120, I would have just slept in the vehicle. I do not recommend this motel.

Very pet friendly
The Smart Stay InnFacility was up to date and nice. Dogs welcome everywhere but the pool area and lobby (around the food only) during breakfast. They had various areas with grass as well as a fenced in dog run. The dog run had poop bags, trash, hose, and a water bowl. Our double bed family room was a decent size and very clean. Workout room had free weights, yoga mat, bench, treadmill and a bike. We’d definitely stay here again.

Pet friendly, friendly staff
The Saint Augustine Beach HouseFacility is up to date, clean, and provides an ocean view. The rooms are spacious, come with dog linens/towels and a book showing all the pet friendly attractions, restaurants, trails, and local veterinarians. Sadly, the dog run was in the middle of being moved when we stayed so our dogs didn’t get to use it. There was a poop bag stand and a light for nighttime use by the future pet run. I would recommend staying here.
