Fine, not great
Hotel Plaza InnI shouldn’t complain when a hotel will take 3 dogs (for a few). I think it was really Los Mochis I didn’t care for: lots of traffic, side streets have no stop signs or pedestrian crossings (I had to run with my 15 year old chow chow in my arms, in the dark!), and last, but not least, the hotel charged us $5 for two bad coffees.

Charming B&B with Delightful Staff
Hotel Casa de LeyendasThis place was recommended to us by others traveling with dogs, so despite the questionable “wisdom” of staying in Old Town Mazatlan pulling a trailer and with three dogs, we are SO glad we did. Beautifully decorated former home, complete with a courtyard, pool, terrace, and - thank you Jesus - REAL coffee in the room with coffee maker, this place is a delight from start to finish. The staff were exceptionally helpful, especially Epifanio, who found us secure parking for car and trailer just across the street. We look forward to going back, without dogs OR car so that we can properly appreciate the space and setting. Go! Stay! Lie down!

Amazing oasis for pets and people alike
Gamma Guaymas Armida HotelVery nice hotel with a beautiful peaceful inner courtyard with pool for relaxing around. The rate is fantastic even with the pet fees, and since we have 3 dogs, we especially appreciated that there isn’t a limit like most pet friendly hotels have. We ordered room service, which was prompt and tasty, and in the morning walked one block to a local coffee place for our extra shot of morning joe (there is a Keurig in the room, but we needed a bigger blast before hitting the road).
The staff were helpful and charming, there is a ton of secure parking, and we look forward to our next stay.

Location can’t be beat!
Ocean Villa InnThe room may be bare bones, but to be able to bring all your furry friends and be just steps from Ocean Beach is too good to miss. The reception staff we dealt with were all super nice and accommodating, and we didn’t mind the discontinuation of daily housekeeping due to Covid at all. Very nice to have a fridge, micro and coffee maker as well.
