Unprofessional, Nasty, Rude office manager

Willow Oak Veterinary Hospital

I recently called Willow Oak Veterinary hospital to discuss my bill for my dog. When I called I spoke to Stacey(the office manager) and explained to her that when I brought my dog in for an emergency examination I asked the lady at the front desk to come and ask me for permission before doing anything other than the examination because I’m a college student and my budget was around $65.00. The lady at the front said she would let the doctor and treatment know. I said okay and proceeded to wait as they examined my dog. A few weeks later I received a bill for $95.00.m so I called the hospital to see how it went from $65.00 to $95.00. In the middle of me explaining to Stacy that I explicitly told the lady at the front desk not to do anything other than the examination due to my financial abilities being limited from Covid-19 she cuts me off at says “look are you really going to sit here and argue of $30.00” in the most unprofessional, rudest tone I’ve ever heard in my entire life. She then continued by completely ignoring me, raise her voice and repeating that I was still “trying to argue $30.00”. $30 might not be a lot for her, but for her to belittle me being in a financial rut and end the conversation by slamming the phone after saying “there’s nothing more I can do” is the most disrespectful thing I have ever experienced.
