Great location!

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas

If you have the money, this hotel is well worth it! I lucked out and found an amazing rate for a one night stay. The dog fee was $50, however for a luxury hotel that's not bad. We stayed in a terrace room with a large balcony. Staff was very welcoming to both myself and my dog from the moment we walked in. After check-in and arriving to our room, the staff brought us a "pupjoy" box filled with treats, a toy and a travel bowl. It was a lovely surprise and very nice gesture. The room was very comfortable. Room service was perfect. The Staff informed me that my dog was allowed everywhere except restaurants, bars and the pool area. We were able to walk around the casino, which was a plus! They have two pet relief areas. We only visited the one on the 14th floor. It was a nice little fenced area with fake grass. Parking fee was $10 which I believe is less expensive than some of the cheaper strip hotels. The hotel is centrally located on the strip, a perfect location to explore either direction. Another plus was that it seemed like there was less elevator traffic than others casinos I have stayed in, which was nice for my dog. We can't wait to stay here again!

Peaceful patio

Top Dog Coffee Bar

We loved this place! I'm a coffee snob and needed my afternoon coffee and stumbled across this wonderful dog friendly place! My husband was happy -- they had beer on tap. The dogs were happy -- they had delicious house made peanut butter cookies (seriously smelled so good I almost ate one). I was happy -- the coffee was delish. We loved hanging out on the peaceful patio out back talking to the owners and staff. What wonderful people. If only we were closer, we'd be regulars.

Wine tasting on the patio!

Moonstone Cellars Tasting Room

Another fun experience wine tasting on the patio with the pups. Our server was very nice and knowledgeable about the wines. The tasting room has moved from its previous location, to the street behind.

Cute cottage!

The Pierpont Inn

We stayed in one of the freestanding historic cottages (the smaller one) which was adorable. It was probably slightly bigger than the average room. It had a private patio, however it wasn't enclosed so the dogs couldn't be off leash but it was nice to have privacy. The property itself was very pretty, but they are very particular about where to potty your dog, which was on the other side of the property from where we were staying. It's kind of hard to tell your old dog to hold it until while passing many grassy areas to get to the right grassy area. They let us bring our dogs on the patio at the restaurant, which was very good, a bit on the pricey side but there is a bar menu with less expensive choices as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Great brewery!

brewLAB

We enjoyed visiting this dog friendly tasting room. The staff was friendly and they let the dogs in the tasting room. The beers were great and not your typical styles. The tasting room was fairly small so it can get crowded fast. There was a very small patio as well.

Decent size park

Dog Park at Tucker's Grove Park

The park was ok. Not so green like some of the photos, but we are in a drought. It was a decent size, however the fence was fairly low and my dog could have easily jumped it. Also, a LOT of poison oak in the area so be on the look out. Navigator sent us to the main parking lot where we parked near a trailhead and walked past a gated area to finally arrive at the park.

Great casual breakfast spot!

The Back Bay Cafe

We were regulars here for breakfast for 3 days. Its a great dog friendly casual environment right next to the water. The staff was wonderful, service was fast and breakfast was delish. Limited menu but we had the breakfast burrito and breakfast sandwiches. Sweet, simple and very good. Also have coffee, mochas, and mimosas! Take a brief stroll on the boardwalk that runs along the water front.

Dog goodie bag and in room dog menu!

Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort

What a beautiful hotel right across the street from the beach! We had a dog friendly garden view room with a balcony and a glimpse of the ocean! The sound of the waves at night was wonderful. The room was decent size and the bed comfy. The Staff was extremely nice, especially Carley upon check in. They gave our pups a goodie bag with balls, biscuits and poop bags. The hotel is very dog friendly, even the restaurant allowed us to have dinner and drinks on the patio with them. There was even an in room dog menu! Parking was close, right outside our building. The hotel is a bit pricey after the resort fee, pet fee and daily parking however, we were on vacation so it was worth it. Some of the other slightly less expensive dog friendly places we looked into had really small rooms, so it was worth the extra money here for us.

Beautiful!

Rincon Park (County of Santa Barbara)

What a gorgeous on-leash beach to take a walk on! The only negative was leaving with tar on my foot. Luckily the dogs did not step in any. So be sure to check the paws when leaving!

The staff here was awesome! They allowed the pups inside the tasting room and offered them treats. We sat on their small relaxing patio and enjoyed our wine tasting.
