Great location, room dirty
Motel 6 Amarillo TX - AirportThe area was a good location, well lit, office staff was friendly. However, deadbolt on door didn’t work, the floors were black when I spilled water and tried to wipe up, and there were a few cockroaches in our room. Not the worst experience for price but did expect cleanliness.

Not great for pets
Motel 6 Grants NMThe listing said there were 2 grassy areas for pet relief, however that wasn’t the case. There were only dirt patches along the main roads or parking lots. My dog had goathead stickers from the dirt stuck in his paws. Also our first room had bugs on the floor and hair on the beds the second we walked in. You’d think at least during a pandemic they would be a little more sanitary. I understand it’s a motel 6 and you get what you pay for, but this motel was the typical rate I pay for much nicer hotels. Much too expensive for what you get, and my dog didn’t approve

Not impressed
Super 8 by Wyndham Las VegasQuite pricey for the quality of the motel. Also, they charge an extra fee if pets are on the furniture (which wasn’t shown prior to check in). The floors are hardwoods, there was hardly any room for pets to stay on the floor.

Good, convenient place for dogs
La Quinta by Wyndham Albuquerque WestStayed here passing through NM, very nice because I have a German Shepherd who is a little iffy about people and the place was very pet friendly, room on the first floor helped a lot being able to avoid busy stair cases or elevators! Clean nice room. Very convenient location right off the highway and lots of food around the area.
