Keep driving or look for an alternate!
Howard Johnson by Wyndham HolbrookClean sheets, and the second bone (by default) is only because they’re dog friendly. I’d NEVER stay here again. When I was a child in the 50s traveling with my folks, Howard Johnson’s was a welcome sight and the standard of the industry. This place was from the 50s alright, but was no standard of the industry.
Example ~ Ice machine was inconveniently in the lobby ~ “one bucket per guest”.

Delightful accommodations
La Quinta by Wyndham Springfield Airport PlazaA very nice and welcoming motel/hotel. All went well, and it earns a well deserved four (4) bones. You won’t be disappointed!

Outstanding!!!
Fairfield Inn & Suites Amarillo AirportThis location was by far the ‘best’ of four, while driving from Southern California to Wisconsin!!!
I returned to the front desk to tell the desk clerk (kiddingly), that there must be some mistake; that we hadn’t reserved the Presidential suite. There were dogs all over the place and plenty of convenient tall grass potty places. I would highly recommend this facility! If you’ve got a problem with this place, it’s your problem and not the facility’s! I’ll seek out Fairfield Inn And Suites by Marriott in the future.
