After 17 years of being a crazy cat lady, I'm not a new dog mom. We thought a husky would be a perfect fit to our couch potato lifestyle. Lola Blue is a rescue from Castaway Pets. Adopted in November, 2020.

Time to run
PetSafe Unleashed Dog ParkAfter being cooped up on our drive from northern Illinois to TN, we were happy to let our beastie run and play with others for a while. Nice park. There is a water fountain at the entrance and water bowls throughout the large dog section. Pet parents fill up the bowls for others to use later. The park is smaller than I thought, but the beast didn’t mind. Bring your beast to the park to release some energy.

55# Husky - No Problems
Smoky Mountain Knife WorksAfter visiting the Lodge Factory Outlet, we walked over to the Knife Works to see what it was about. We walked right in with our Husky. I can’t say that the staff was welcoming, as no-one approached us, but we weren’t asked to leave either.

Very Welcoming
Lodge Factory StoreMy daughter and I stood outside while my husband shopped for his cast iron cookware. A staff member saw us and welcomed us in with our beastie. They fawned over her and had treats ready too.
