Not dog friendly and very dated
Evergreen Lodge at VailThey didn’t have our room ready, we were turned away for an hour stuck in the rain, and then waited soaking wet in the lobby for another 30 minutes. During that time we heard 3 other guests come to the front desk about being given a room that was already occupied, the heat, and not having their correct reservation. Later, we were called about our dog barking and returned as fast as possible, upon return we found that our room had been entered without our notice (and no active barking upon arrival) and were again called within 15 minutes of being back. There is no AC and all dog friendly rooms are on the very loud first floor, so with a window open it’s extra loud. Adjoining room walls/doors are paper thin, I could hear the neighbor sneeze. An occasional bark should be expected from a place that advertises and charges as pet friendly.
