Disappointed

I’ve stayed at Kimpton Resorts before and have always been happy with how they treated my dog. They usually give your little ones a welcome package with treats, a bowl, and even a little bed. The great thing is there is no pet fee. However the only thing that applies to this hotel is the pets stay free policy. We weren’t given any special welcome gifts. The dogs aren’t allowed around the pool area (which is lovely, as it should be since you are paying a hefty resort fee for the use of it). You cannot leave your dog alone in the room unsupervised either. so I’m confused now I’m supposed to use the pool. None of these policies are told to you before booking. Do yourself a favor and stay at The Standard. No pet fee there either. dogs can chill at the pool with you. they bring your dog water and great them by their name. That’s TRULY a pet friendly hotel, not this place
