Very disappointing
AmericInn by Wyndham St. CloudThe pictures were very nice; not so much in person. They double charged me for my pet, but did deduct it when I brought it to their attention! The taxes were astronomical! Every governmental agency wanted their share as well! The room was clean, but severely outdated…. Maybe 1970’s! Was it horrible…. No! Was it a major letdown? Absolutely! I would not recommend it to anyone in all honesty!

Really doing a good job!
Best Western Park Oasis InnOverall it was a good experience. $5 per night per pet seems reasonable. The room was clean and fairly well maintained. My only criticism would be that the carpeting (rooms and hallway) looked like they could use a good cleaning. The breakfast was good and the personnel were friendly, efficient, and professional. Overall good experience!

Throughly disappointed
Clarion Inn I-94 Near Expo CenterThe toilet’s wax ring seal needed to be replaced, as the bathroom floor was constantly wet. They claimed to have replaced the seal, but all they really did was caulk around the base of the toilet, and the water still crept out from underneath the caulk! The exhaust fan was so loud, it sounded like a helicopter was landing! The bathroom sink did not have a functioning stopper, so there was no way to have the basin fill up. The A/C was not adjustable, so it blew directly at the bed and made it very difficult to get a good night’s sleep with it going off and on all night long! Moved the sofa to block the A/C from directly hitting us. It had apparently not been moved in months...... it was filthy ; dead bugs candy wrappers and mounds of dust and dirt. Their prices did not reflect the condition of the hotel! And $25 per night per pet is ridiculous! I expected a lot more for the $180 per night that it ended up costing! Shame on Clarion for allowing a hotel to become such a “dump!” I will never return, nor recommend them to anyone! The only positive thing I can say is the free breakfast was worth it! The “free” part, I mean! The overall maintenance was done extremely poorly; shabby painting, trim work, drywall patching, etc.
