Nice folks, disgusting hotel

First things first, we decided to stay here for no other reason than they allowed big dogs. We have an 85-pound Doberman, and most if not all of the other pet-friendly hotels in the area only allowed small dogs.

Let’s get the good out there first: the folks who work here are super nice. Ms. Robin was so sweet — went above and beyond to help us get the internet working in our room.

But this place is NASTY. The whole place has the musty odor of wet carpet. The carpet in the halls is stained dark and matted with god knows what. Our room had its own special foul odor that we couldn’t place. The room had laminate floors that were peeling up and chipped. There was a dirty cup left under the bathroom sink. When we got back home, we could still smell the place on our clothes and belongings.

Don’t stay here unless you have to. Or unless they undergo significant renovations and changes in cleaning protocols.
