Good for all size dogs
The Suites Hotel at Waterfront PlazaEvery room is a suite which is great for those of us with dogs who might need a little more leg room.
Good walking but busy
Ha Ha Tonka State ParkGood walking paths, but they are steep, and doggie poop bags were available, but it’s busy so a lot of distraction and stimulation for your dog. If your dog is iffy with other dogs or crowds this might not be great. But it was dog friendly walking if you have a dog that loves the outdoors.
So nice to our doggy
Dog Days Bar & GrillEveryone was so nice to our doggy and brought her own doggy bowl and sat us in a place on the deck off to the side in the shade where she could rest and enjoy the view.
Nice place!
Drury Inn & Suites Kansas City Overland ParkBeing in the suburbs it was nice to have a place where it was easy to walk our dog. Knowing we had a dog they upgraded us to a suite right by the elevator. The free breakfast and happy hour was nice too.
Nice place for doggies!
Lodge of Four Seasons Golf Resort Marina & SpaWe got a junior suite in the atrium and they put us on the first floor knowing we had our dog. It had glass doors to walk out right there which made bringing her along really easy to walk her. The grounds of the resort were really nice to walk around too a few times a day with her. Would definitely stay here again.
Best Best Western
Best Western Plus Des Moines West Inn & SuitesBig dog friendly. We got upgraded to a suite on the first floor right by the side exit/entrance which was perfect for our old mid-large size dog. Pet potty area outside. Only $25 pet deposit, not too bad. Hotel staff was very nice and accommodating. Free continental breakfast.
