Good location, pleasant and accommodating staff, otherwise, major fail.

Pros: Reasonable pet fee, near restaurants, stores and banks, really pleasant and helpful staff. Cons: The motto at Candlewood suites is 'we like you to feel at home away from home'... this is only true if your home is a pigsty. We were in the middle of an interstate move, or I would have changed hotels. The furniture and bathrooms were outdated and unclean. I had to ask for large paperclips to keep the privacy curtains closed, they were full of holes. The paint on the walls was a mustard yellow that is supposed to hide dirt and stains, a lost cause. Poor lighting in the room, not enough outlets, no USB connectors at all.The hotel had many seasonal and transient workers as guests, so not necessarily a family friendly place, really more like a truck stop. I would not stay again, nor recommend.
