Great location for beach

There was great (close) access to the beach, though be aware dogs are not allowed anywhere on Daytona Beach. Check limited options in the activities section of BringFido. The room we had was wonderfully large with couch, chair and coffee table. Lots of room for our dog and us to share. However, the “sunset view” was misleading. We looked out over the large flat roof of a section of the hotel towards the west. So just a city view with the black top roof. Sunset is not even a view option on the Hilton app. If I had considered what it meant, I probably would have gone for plain city view (lower cost) or ocean view (higher cost).
