Good location
Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Wilson NCIt was clean & quiet, breakfast okay & typical. Rooms are rather depressing as everything is painted gray with no color anywhere. Lighter paint and a picture would liven up the room.
Dated
Travelodge by Wyndham WythevilleClean and pleasant. Large one floor suite. Comfortable but outdated furnishing. Decent breakfast.
Wonderful stay at Dartouth College
Six South St HotelThis hotel is definitely pet friendly. From the initial welcome by Patrick and Jan the stay was delightful. The room had a nice bed, dish and dog biscuits for Geno and was meticulously cleaned. Patrick and Jan did everything possible to make our and Geno's stay a success. You can eat a light breakfast and a quite good dinner (burger was superb) and Geno sat next to us in a very comfortable area next to the bar. Geno vegged out on the very soft carpet next to the fireplace. The hotel is two blocks from the Green. We had a king sized bed and a very nice coach. The rooms and hotel have been recently renovated. The entire staff from parking our car, making up the rooms, making and delivering the three meals were super dog friendly and Geno became a celebrity around the hotel.
We wish all of BringFido's hotels were as nice as Six South Street Hotel in Hanover, NH. Thanks again Jan and Patrick. Hope to see you and your wonderful staff again. Bruce, Barbara and Geno
Wonderful hotel and breakfast
Holiday Inn Express Lexington an IHG HotelWe had a room with extra living room added. It was worth the extra charge. Our Rhodesian Ridgeback loved having his own area. The carpets (which we usually prefer not to have) are cleaned after every pet visit. The included breakfast was excellent. This was the best pet-friendly hotel we have stayed in with BringFido.
Mixed review
Hyatt Place Savannah AirportThe room was excellent with perfectly clean carpeting. Our toilet was faulty so our room was changed. Sam Snead’s next door has outdoor seating with your dog. The food is generic but good for a beer, salad and burger. The free breakfast was meager with cold cereal, white bread and sweetened yogurt, juices and coffee. All of the cereals were sweetened and breads were white and generic. If they could upgrade the breakfast they would easily get 5 bones.
Geno loved the place
Best Western Plus First Coast Inn & SuitesThe hotel was the best so far since we started using Bring Fido. The staff, Diana and Leslie, were warm, efficient and really seemed to enjoy their job. The room was clean and well maintained. Breakfast had the usual assortment of foods and was very appreciated. We will definitely return on our way to Florida from NJ. The outdoor landscaping was very well maintained and attractive.
Pet friendly but needs refurbishing
Hilton Garden Inn Roanoke RapidsWe had a queen suite with 2 queens and another room with couch. The layout was excellent. The ability to have dinner with our dog to the right of reception is a real plus. This place would be perfect if they would upgrade the quality of worn out furniture, dirty rugs and peeling wallpaper. I am giving it only three bones because it could easily have 5 if they invested in upgrades. They should not have carpet in any room with pets. It can't be cleaned as wood or tile or even vinyl could be easily sanitized. The outdoor setting which is lovely was not well maintained with debris and even masks scattered about. The staff is great and well aware of the poor quality of the above mentioned. Hilton, spend some money and get your act together.
Very nice stay
