Basic roadside motel
Days Inn by Wyndham ChieflandThis is an old place, but new clean beds. I asked for non-smoking but smelled of smoke anyway. I would not want to have to stay here more than overnight. It was a decent place to sleep.

Great central location on campus
Aloft Gainesville University AreaThis is a clean pet friendly place. Our room was exceptionally tiny, but not a problem for an overnight. The lighting is an issue, because the same switch to turn on bathroom light, also lights up sleeping area.
