Just adequate

I pre-registered and prepaid the day before and after driving 10 hours I arrived. I proceeded to stand in line to get my room number and key card for 50 minutes. 5-0! The two agents at the desk were checking in a large group and there were about 20-25 folks in front of me. It would have been nice if they would have taken any people pre-registered in between.

When I finally got my key card (after standing for 50 minutes), I was just about to get in the elevator and I heard my name called. I had been given the wrong room key. It was corrected. On opening my door, I was greeted with a men’s dirty sock on the floor inside the door. After using the toilet and flushing, it wouldn’t turn off so I removed the tank cover and fiddled with the flapper to get it to stop.

I had asked when booking the previous day if I could have a room towards the end of a hall so my pup wouldn’t bark at everyone walking by. I was given a room next to the elevator. And lastly, I know it was listed that parking was $15 for overnight parking but there was a huge parking lot and dozens and dozens of empty spots. Free courtesy parking for guests would have been a nice gesture. Adequate accommodations but wouldn't stay again given that there are 6-8 pet friendly hotels in vicinity. Nothing stands out in this location at this price point.
