Noisy, bad location
La Quinta by Wyndham MaderaAlthough the hotel itself is clean and tastefully decorated, the location is not a place to take dogs. We had an abysmal night. The worst was the movement activated light in the room that turned itself on and off for no reason. It was an absolute nightmare especially since it made a sound every time it went on and off. There also was police activity on our floor at 1am. I would not stay in this hotel again.
Great hotel with a wonderful pool
Kimpton Sawyer Hotel an IHG HotelWe only stayed one night. The hotel was very accommodating when someone in a nearby room was smoking pot and we were moved to another room. The room was tastefully decorated, the bedding was comfortable, and there was plenty of storage. The pool is heavenly although dogs are not allowed. The location is less than stellar unless you want to be right downtown.
Excellent customer service
Sheraton Palo Alto HotelKen at the front desk was attentive, informed, and accommodating. This hotel is fantastic in terms of how it caters to dog owners. We received a room on an upper floor which was quiet and clean. The only thing I would criticize is the breakfast buffet which is overpriced for what it offers. Other than that, this hotel is excellent for dog owners.
Beautiful big room
Motel 6 Marina CA - MontereyI highly recommend this Motel 6. It is clean. Seems to be fairly newly renovated and the room we had had a great view. Friendly reception.
