Great downtown Sylva location
Blue Ridge InnAs others have said, there isn't a great spot to take the dog, but there is some grassy areas close to the courthouse. For us it really wasn't a big deal. There wasn't a lot of traffic. There were a lot of pet friendly things within walking distance. There was a farmers market on the Saturday morning we were there. We also walked to Nantahala Brewing for some live music and craft beer. In the morning we walked to City Lights Cafe for breakfast. It was a really great stay. We will definitely come back here in the future.

Good food and service
British Bulldog PubBrought our dog here after a trip to PetSmart and sat at the picnic tables outside. The food was good, as always, and the service was great.

Great spot
Higher Ground Char HouseThey are usually pretty busy. The outdoor seating is on turf and our pup loved it. Staff was great with the dogs. This is on the short list of local restaurants to go to with the dog.
