Good stay in Albuquerque

Hotel Parq Central

This hotel is a gem, not only for humans but for pets as well. By the number of dogs we encountered on our stay, it is clear this is truly a "pet friendly" hotel. Aside from the pet friendly ambience, this is one cool hotel. Lots of very interesting history to this property. Rooms are ok, ours was a little small considering we travel with Carly Simon a 100lb Bernese Mountain Dog. Very clean, quiet and lots of green space within walking distance of the hotel.

Surprise in Greensboro

The Biltmore Greensboro Hotel

The Biltmore Hotel in Greensboro is a real gem. Historically interesting and possessing an eclectic vibe, this hotel was our first stop on a cross country drive with Carly our 100lb Bernese Mountain Dog. While the room was small, it was very clean and well kept. My only complaint is that what makes this hotel interesting also creates some challenges. An original elevator (think small, sliding cage like door) was not at all workable for our pup. She freaked out at the sound of the sliding/clanging closure. We had to use the stairs to get to and from our room on the third floor. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend for travelers who have smaller pets in tow.

Great location and a good choice for traveling with a pet

Residence Inn by Marriott Oklahoma City Downtown/Bricktown

The Residence Inn Bricktown is a great hotel for pet owners. Lots of pet owners when we were there indicates how popular this hotel is. Accommodations were spacious and accommodating. We were traveling with Carly Simon our 2 year old, 100lb Bernese Mountain Dog and she does require some space. This hotel met our needs. The are is really active with many restaurants and bars. The triple A farm team for the LA Dodgers plays literally across the street, making this a very busy and active area. Excellent staff, responsive to guests and pets.

Mixed Feelings

Residence Inn Jackson

We planned a four day trip from NC to AZ with our Berner. Relied totally on the input received on the BringFido app. Staff was very kind and welcoming. Property was well maintained and clean. Our room was a king as requested but located in the worst possible location - the top floor of the back side of the hotel facing I 40. Traffic noise was off the chart and made for a very long and sleepless night. When I asked the desk clerk about a move to the other side of the hotel, I was told that was not possible due to bookings and long term guests. I noticed the room was outfitted with dog items, so I assumed it must have been a "dedicated dog room" Made me wonder if guests with dogs get the undesirable (and a $75 pet fee)? We have two more nights ahead of us so I guess we'll see if this premise holds up.
