Convenient hotel but with issues
Fairfield Inn & Suites Amarillo AirportImpossible to get a 1st fl room even with prepayment/written requests. Even called the morning of the reservation but when we arrived we were told we got there too late and were put on the 4th floor. Other less expensive hotels are more accomdating.

Bare bones (pun intended)
La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Colorado Springs Garden of the GodsAn ok place to stay if you just need some place to crash...really outdated. We were given a 1st floor rooms for the dogs... musty smelling. Green space for the dogs was minimal and trash cans overflowing. Overall, pretty clean but probably won't stay again. Will spend the few extra dollars for a better place. The one plus was the front desk staff...very nice and helpful.
