Excellent food, excellent ambiance, excellent for pups!

Izanami

Izanami has a wonderful partially-enclosed and heated outdoor area for dining that permits well-behaved pups. Our Luna was provided with a water bowl and her own blanket to lay on while we dined on fantastic small-plates. This is one of the rare fine-dining experiences we were thrilled to share with our girl. Highly recommend if in the Santa Fe area.

Friendly Pups are Welcome Inside and Out!

Y-Bridge Brewing Company

If near Zanesville, OH, be sure to visit this quirky brew pub where you will find great beer and welcoming staff. Dogs are welcome inside (or on the outside patio) as long as they are friendly with the resident pup and kitties. The pub does not serve food, but you are welcome to bring your own or order delivery from local restaurants. We, and our Luna, loved our visit here!

Resort Luxury for You and Pup

Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort and Spa at Gainey Ranch

Well-behaved dogs are permitted to be left in the room at this resort. Our pup was welcomed enthusiastically at check-in and we were asked to complete a short questionnaire about her, including how we could be contacted in case she "got lonely" when left in the room which we understood and appreciated! We were thoughtfully set up with a third floor room (our choice) that was surprisingly convenient to outside access. Our room had a large balcony where she could sun-bathe and enjoy the gorgeous view. There are other great room choices, including first floor rooms with little grassy areas directly accessible from the room. There are several pretty outside common areas to explore as well as a sidewalk leaving the resort for longer walks. We were extremely pleased with our stay!

Semi Dog Friendly

JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort Spa

First, this is a beautiful resort at which I wouldn't hesitate to stay again. However, consider the following if you are bringing your dog. The pros - there did not seem to be any restriction as to what room or area of the hotel in which we could stay with our pup. At check-in, a room on the first floor with direct access to a large grassy area was recommended and it was PERFECT! Our pup could bathe in the sun inside the sliding glass doors, lay outside on the room patio or enjoy the grassy area away from the busyness of the rest of the resort.

The big consideration is that the resort does not allow dogs to be left alone in the rooms and they are not permitted even in the outside seating areas of any of the restaurants, which is very restrictive. The one exception is the open bar area downstairs from the lobby where everyone was quite friendly and welcoming to our pup. If you are not deterred by these limitations, by all means enjoy this resort with your furry family member.
