Don't Go There

The office wasn't open, all the signs on the street had been blacked out, and the buildings were very run down. We decided not even to stay there even though it meant losing our nonrefundable reservation money. We found out later that the hotel is mostly occupied by local transient residents. This hotel should be taken off the list of possibilities.
