Extremely dated
Casa Lemus InnSo the pups enjoy a beautiful room, and this one was not that. We couldn't imagine how old that carpet was, and the AC was old style for sure. The room was large, and the shower was great. Nice to have a real breakfast for free. But overall, this was very overpriced for an 80s era motel. Would definitely pay an additional $40 for a nice room.

Great stay except for dog yard
Comfort Suites Gallup East Route 66 and I-40The hotel is clearly under renovation, and the baseboards had been pulled up already in anticipation (we think) of new carpet. However, the maids somehow managed to make the room spotless in spite of that. The shower was one of the best ever. Soundproofing was great, and the beds were comfortable, so we had a good night's sleep. Town is only about 5 min away with lots of food options. The only downside was that folks hadn't picked up after dogs in the dog yard (and the stand with bags was empty). It was so full of dog poo that we chose the vacant lot next door to take the dogs. Someone from the hotel needs to do a daily sweep of the gravel dog yard, I think. If it weren't for that, this would have been a five bone review.
